Donald L. Moore
1947 ~ 2012
Donald Leroy Moore, 65, of Kuna, Idaho died Wednesday November 21, 2012 at his home of natural causes. Born and survived by Donald Moore, Sr. and Wanda Moore. Don grew up with a love of family and friends and spent much of his time riding motorcycles, fishin', huntin', campin' and bowlin'. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Gloria Keith (Lester), Nancy Holmberg, and Michael Moore (Kathy).
Don served in the Idaho Army National Guard and the Boise Police Officer Reserves. Don married his surviving spouse, Victoria Kelso Moore on August 23, 1986 in Boise, Idaho. They recently renewed their vows on their 25th wedding anniversary last year. Don served as the President of the Idaho State Junior Bowlers Association where he touched many children's lives. He ran many Junior Bowling programs where he coached and encouraged children every day. At one time he bowled as a Pro Bowler and received many awards. Don was an avid hunter and it was the highlight of his year as he loved going with his son and son-in-laws. He loved to camp and could not wait for the camping season to start!
He is survived by his 5 children: Dawn Brubaker (Aaron), Lisa Kukay ("Kuke"), Kristin Page (Sean), Jon Moore (Annette), and Elicia Bonner (Shane); 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ellen Hathaway, Albert Hathaway and Earnest Moore and Lena Moore, and numerous aunts and uncles.
