John and Angela Hendricks
1956 & 1961 ~ 2013
John and Angela Hendricks, of Parma, Idaho, went to be with their Savior on Sunday, October 6, 2013 in a tragic car accident. They were on their way to church and made it all the way to Heaven.
John and Angela were married December 18, 1982, and throughout their lives they put God first in their marriage and in their family. They had a sacrificial love for each other, and they were committed to raising their 5 children in a Godly environment. Their children's lives reflect the love that they had for Jesus.
John was born November 6, 1956, in Nyssa, Ore., to Frank and Laverne Hendricks. He worked for Idaho Power for 30 years. John was faithful in leading and serving the body of Christ at Vale Christian Church. He loved hunting with his children, being a "Papa" to his grandchildren, traveling and relaxing on the golf course.
Angela was born January 2, 1961, in Sparks, Nv., to Doyle and Anna Farnsworth. She was a constant Christian example and encourager to many. She was passionate about being a mom, enthusiastic about being a "Nana," and head over heels about her grandchildren. She enjoyed directing a "Be Still" retreat and supporting those in the adoption community.
John and Angela are survived by their son Justin and his wife Ashley of Junction City, Kans.; daughter Jessica Davolt and her husband Jesse of Boise, Idaho; son Micah and his wife Leona of Vernal, Utah; son Javan of Vernal, Utah; daughter Jianna of Parma, Idaho; and two grandchildren with two more arriving in the spring. John and Angela will meet their four babies and four grandbabies who went to Heaven before they were born.
John is survived by a brother Steve and his wife Janet of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; a sister Carolyn Morton and her husband Joe of Meridian, Idaho; a sister Lois Dumler and her husband Dennis of Salem, Ore.; a sister Grace Hughey and her husband Greg of Tucson, Ariz.; and a sister Marlene Huntsinger and her husband Rob of Bothell, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Frank and Laverne Hendricks. Angela is survived by her mother Anna Farnsworth of Boise, Idaho; a sister Jennet Bond and her husband Gordon of Richland, Ore.; a sister Charlotte Hoff and her husband Kirk of Bothell, Wash.; a sister Loretta Murphy and her husband John of Boise, Idaho; a brother Dan Farnsworth of Eugene, Ore.; a brother Lyle Farnsworth of Parachute, Colo.; and a brother Steve Farnsworth of Ontario, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Ruth Farnsworth and her father Doyle Farnsworth.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 12 at 11 a.m. at the Vale Christian Church in Vale, Ore. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Vale Christian Church Missions fund in memory of John and Angela Hendricks.
