There is now a "brilliant" star in the heavens! I felt so very comfortable the minute I met Wendy. As a docent I was witness to how warm and welcoming she was to all who entered the museum doors. When illness changed my life forever; Wendy was there with warm hugs; encouragement and hope. She is the only "Basque" (albeit with Scot heritage!) who could add more letters to an already difficult to pronounce Basque name: Begone became Berrrgonya ! I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL THAT SHE WAS IN MY LIFE!! Agur gure Wendy maitea.

Starting with the first time Jack (Olson) introduced us you made me feel as though I was a long time and dear friend. Each time we met after that you always welcomed me in the same way. You had a God given gift of making everyone feel as though they were very special, when, in fact, you were the special one. You always brightened my life and, in turn, I will endeavor to brighten someone else's life each day to pass on your spirit. I will miss you. My condolences to your family. Linda Howe
