Walter L. Kolp
age 88, originally from North Canton, Ohio and more recently a resident of Lugoff, S.C., died peacefully on March 16, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Corrinne and a grandchild, Kelly, age 11.
He is survived by four children and their spouses, Karen (John), Sandra (Robert), Jim (Kathy). and Jeffrey (Cheryl); five grandchildren, Sean, Katie, Christopher, Jessica and Justin; and two sisters, Helen and Norma. Walter was a World War II veteran who loved his country, his family, his hometown and his little dog. He had a long career in plastic molding and especially loved boating and fishing.
Walter will be buried at the Fort Jackson National Cemetary in Columbia, S.C. Donations may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton, Ohio.
