Jedel, Marjorie Ellen - Canton  
Marjorie Ellen (Snide) Jedel 1921-2016 The beautiful soul of Marjorie Ellen (Snide) Jedel, surrounded by family, joined her loving husband, Billy, to be with the Lord on the peaceful evening of June 26, 2016. She was born in Kipling, Ohio on Nov. 12, 1921 to the late Champion and Priscilla Snide. The family moved to Pleasant City and then to Canton, where she met the love of her life, Billy F. Jedel, whom she married on August 28, 1941. Marjorie attended Lincoln and McKinley High School. She was always busy helping Bill with some project, Boy Scouts, homecoming, baseball, football, or traveling. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Richville Fire Department, the Perry Grange, and Richville United Church of Christ.In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by her sisters, Delores Moorehead and Vivian Troth; and brother, Earl Snide. She is survived by her four children, Robert (Nancy) Jedel, Dennis (Heidi) Jedel, Bonnie (Rick) Radsick, and Ronald Jedel; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Will Stuart officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Richville UCC, Perry Grange, or a charity of your choice. Jones, Margaret Menichillo - Canton  
Margaret Menichillo Jones 2016 of Canton, Ohio, formerly of Scranton and a seasonal resident of Ft. Myers, Fla., died peacefully Friday, June 24, 2016, at the Mercy Health Center, Canton Ohio. She was the widow of Donald J. Jones who died January 25, 2014. Born in Scranton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Raphael and Angelina Menichillo; she was a graduate of Marywood College, and prior to her move from Scranton she was employed as a mathematics and science teacher with the Scranton School District. She was an avid bridge player, and enjoyed playing golf. She was a member of the Olde Hickory Country Club of Ft. Meyers, Fla., and the Shady Hollow Country Club, Massillon, Ohio. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday from the Guido-Fiorillo Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Ave., Scranton, Pa., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Basilica Monastery Parish, 1250 St. Ann St., Scranton. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery. Friends and family will pay their respects Wednesday 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
