Laps, Margaret E. - Massillon  
Margaret E. Laps 1934-2016 81, passed away at home surrounded by her family following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on Oct. 31, 1934 to the late Andre and Lola Woutat. A member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Margaret was a faithful and dedicated mother. She was also an avid bingo player. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Roberta) Laps of Waite Hill, Larry (Tela) Laps of Canton, Linda (Robert) Dehnke of Canton and Todd (Shelly) Laps of Massillon; ten grandchildren, Scott, Matt, Mike, Justin (Laura), Lindsay (Mandish), Jen (John), Jason (Jessica), Abbie (Adrian), Kristen and Camryn; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Woutat of Massillon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene L. Laps; and two brothers, James Woutat and Wilson Woutat. Friends may gather at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and on Friday, April 29, 2016 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated by Fr. Lautzenheiser, George L. - Louisville  
George L. Lautzenheiser 1936-2016 age 79, of East Canton, Ohio passed away Friday, April 29, 2016. He was born June 8, 1936 in Canton, Ohio to the late Ivan and Mary (Lombardy) Lautzenheiser. George was employed with BP/SOHIO for 43 years. He was a member of the John Deere NE Ohio 2 Cylinder Club, the Stark Antique Power Assoc, T.V.P.P.A., N.R.A. and the Louisville F.O.E. George is survived by his daughter, Beth Shaffer, two sons, James (Penny) Lautzenheiser and Steve (Alfredae) Lautzenheiser, a brother, Larry (Ellie) Lautzenheiser, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one grandson and one great-granddaughter. The family would like to thank the staff at Altercare of Louisville for the kind and compassionate care that was given to George. Funeral services will be 11a.m. Wednesday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Haan Phelps officiating. Calling hours will be 6-8p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Leis, Edward H. - Canton  
Edward H. Leis age 86, of Massillon, passed away Mon, Apr. 25, 2016. Born in New Castle, Pa., the son of the late Carl and Charlotte Leis, he had been a Massillon resident for five years, previously residing in Calabash, NC since 1992. Edward served with the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 1990 from Allstate Insurance Co., after 29 years' service as a claims representative. Preceded in death by his wife, Janice (Croft) Leis, in 1994, his sister, Henrietta Prentice, and his brother, Carl Leis. He is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline Strawder of Medina, Alison Clubbs of Massillon; and one son, Peter Leis of Oakdale, Minn; eight grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Limbach, Gwen L. - Massillon  
Gwen L. Limbach 1953-2016 age 62, of Massillon, passed away April 28, 2016 with her family at her side. She was born July 9, 1953 in Canton to the late William Lee and Alice (Hursh) Smith. She was a 1972 graduate of Tuslaw High School. Gwen leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years, Mark S. Limbach; their children, Dustin (Iva) Limbach and Daniel (Sarah) Limbach and her granddaughters she adored, Sydnie, Ashton, Sofia and Kaelin. Gwen has two brothers and a sister, Cindy (Don) McCrae, William Smith and Tim (Jon) Smith Bridges, and a host of relatives and friends. She enjoyed many years camping and fishing at Leesville Lake, especially catching largemouth bass. Now she joins our friends at that big campground in the sky. She was a nurse for Doctors Hospital for many years and was still working as an offsite billing coordinator for hospital emergency departments. Gwen was always very family oriented and loving as a wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Locke III, Arthur Clinton - Canton  
Arthur Clinton Locke III age 67, of Minerva, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on April 11, 2016. He was surrounded by his loving family and will be greatly missed. Art was a hard working man who loved nature and the great outdoors. He loved animals, especially his Golden Retrievers of whom he bred and raised. Art enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He lived life to the fullest and appreciated a good sense of humor. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and offer advice to those in need. Art is survived by his wife, Patricia Locke of Minerva; his two children, Christine Panyard of Alliance and Michelle Michel (Alan Michel) of North Canton and their mother, Sharon Locke; grandchildren, Kyle Alspaugh, Kristopher Alspaugh, Kayla Panyard, Chloe Michel, and Owen Michel; great-grandchildren, Tristyn Alspaugh, Izaiah Alspaugh, and Hayden Hartzler; sister: Carla Wolfe (Daniel Wolfe) of Pataskala, and his parents, Paul and Marguerite Lutz of Louisville. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Clinton Locke II and his grandparents: Arthur Clinton I and Margaret Locke and Thomas and Jenny Marino. The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice of Alliance, Dr. Jenifer Payne, Dr. Krishnamurthi and nurse Laura, and numerous family and friends who have shared their fond memories, thoughts, and prayers. There will be a private “Celebration of Life” service for family and friends. “Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it now with undue grief, lift up your hearts and peace to thee, God wanted me now, He set me free!”
