Sarachman, Charles F. - Youngstown  
Charles F. Sarachman 1948-2015; of Youngstown 67, of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Aug. 22, 2015. Charles will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his smile and giving personality. He was born Jan. 26, 1948 in Youngstown, the son of Frank and Mildred (Brozman) Sarachman. Charles was a proud graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. Upon graduation Charles entered the Athenaeum of Ohio; Mount St. Mary's Seminary and was ordained a Catholic priest for the Diocese of Youngstown. Charles had many assignments throughout the Diocese and was a teacher and counselor for many years at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Louisville. He currently for the last 25 years was a supervisor and counselor for alcohol and substance abuse with The Counseling Center of Columbiana County. Charles had many passions throughout his life. He enjoyed going to the horse races, spending time with his family and was an avid sports fan especially watching his son coach at Akron Hoban. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories three children: Sarah (Anthony J. “AJ”) Natale of Warren, Andrew Sarachman and Jule Sarachman both of Canton; and two beloved grand dogs, Otto and Miles. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday, (TODAY) Aug. 25, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Ss Cyril & Methodius Church, 252 E. Wood St., Youngstown, with Father Martin Celuch officiating. Family; and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday (TODAY), Aug. 25, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:50 a.m., at Ss Cyril & Methodius Church, Youngstown. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Sexton, John R. - Bolivar  
John R. Sexton 68, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover. He is survived by his companion, Pat Deibel; his sister, Gail Sexton; and his two brothers, Eddie and Jeff Sexton. In keeping with John's wishes cremation will take place. Shammo, Mable A. - Louisville  
Mable A. Shammo 1941-2015; of Canton, Ohio “Together Forever” age 73 of Canton Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015. She was born in Canton, Ohio, on Oct. 22, 1941, to the late Earl and Merle (Nervius) McCullough. Mable was a 1959 graduate of Canton South High School. She retired from Buckeye Color Labs and volunteered at the Salvation Army soup kitchen in Canton. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton. Mable is survived by her two daughters, Wendy (Richard) Anderson and Julie (Bob) Davidson; son-in-law, Craig Keim; her sister, Shirley (Dan) Trzaska; and her five grandchildren: Ryan, Allison, Justin, Jonathan and Christopher. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Shammo in 2008; and her daughter, Jill Shammo Keim. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton, with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Calling hours will be one hour before the service at the church. Shumaker, Betty - Canton  
Betty Jean (Duvall) Shumaker 83, passed away Friday Aug. 21, 2015 with her caring niece, Theresa Morgan and hospice volunteers by her side for comfort. Born in Canton, Ohio April 9, 1932 to the late Ralph and Lois Duvall. She retired from Aultman Hospital as a dietician, and also managed a Goodwill store for many years after that. She was a member of the Eagle's #2370 and Sarah Care of Canton. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Cleavenger; and her husband ,Tom Shumaker. Survivors include her supportive caretakers, Theresa (Bob) Morgan of Canton; sister, Debbie Minor; and brothers, Larry Irwin and Duane Duvall, all of Canton. Betty never had any children, but was loved and respected as a mother to us all. Committal Chapel service will take place at 12 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 at North Lawn Cemetery with Rev.
