Nicoletti, Ralph M. - Canton  
Ralph M. Nicoletti 1935-2016 age 80, of Canton passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born Dec. 29, 1935 in Johnstown, Pa. and was a Canton resident most of his life. Ralph retired from the Timken Company in 2000 with 36 years of service. He was a member of the VFW in Canton. Preceded in death by his wife, Jean H. Nicoletti. He is survived by four children, Terri Bunyan (Richard Dierick Jr.), Mark Nicoletti (Dawn), Brenda Garabrandt, Gary Garabrandt Jr. (Ronda); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Nida, Ray Edward - Canal Fulton  
Ray Edward Nida passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at the age of 87. Ray was born in Killbuck, Ohio to Mamie Doyle Nida and Edgar Nida. He grew up in Johnson's Corners, Barberton. He attended Barberton High School. After high school he joined the Army where he was stationed in post-World War II occupied Japan. During his time in Japan he had the opportunity to climb to the top of Mt. Fujiyama. After his discharge from the Army he attended Kent State University where on a blind date he met the love of his life, Constance Colucci. They shared 53 years of marriage and raised a family in Cuyahoga Falls. He was employed by Terex. Upon retirement they both moved to Canal Fulton where he has lived since 1989. Ray loved Canal Fulton and participated in many activities. He was an active member of the VFW #9795 and loved spending time sharing a cold one with his friends discussing current events and sports. Most recently he was honored to be the Grand Marshal in the Canal Fulton Memorial Day Parade last May. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Canal Fulton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Connie. He is survived by his brother Larry (Susie) Nida of DeBary, Fla., children Susan (Gary) Settlemire of Akron and Jane Dilley of Canal Fulton; his grandchildren Anthony (Jordan) Dannemiller of Lodi, Scott Cooper of Tampa, Fla., Alexandra Dannemiller of Canal Fulton, Olivia Cooper of Copley and Richard LaPilusa of Akron and an uncle Joe Doyle of Killbuck. He was much loved by his family. He also leaves his good and loyal neighbors, Ray and Dawn Durkee. A special thank you to all of the angels who cared for our dad this past year at Chapel Hill Community Nursing Home in Canal Fulton.
