Contos, Lillian (Bingle) - North Canton  
Lillian (Bingle) Contos age 88, passed away on August 23, 2015. She was of Presbyterian Faith and was an avid dog lover. She was a graduate of McKinley High School, class of 1945 and was a member of the National Honor Society. Lillian also played drums in the marching band for four years. After graduation, she worked in the mailing department of the Hoover Company and also in the office of the Livingston Furniture Company. She was a member of the North Canton Lady Elks #2029 and the AARP. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Bill Bingle; her husband, George to whom she was married 56 years; her beloved son, Daniel; her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Philip Masalko; and a great-nephew, Jeffrey Sedlock; and her beloved little dog, Tina. She is survived by her two sons, Bill and George; and daughter-in-law, Renee. Also a special niece, Judy Masalko-Kendle and her fiancé, Jerry Sedlock; six grandchildren, Angela, Laura, Julie, Haley, Brandi, and Derek; two great-grandchildren, Marissa and Brandon; and her faithful companion, Teddy. Lillian was a home body and enjoyed being out in her yard, working around her flowers and spending time with her dogs. She loved to read mystery books when could find the time and her favorite TV show was NCIS. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and all their family at get togethers. Funeral service will be held at Reed Funeral Home NORTH CANTON Chapel on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1 p.m. with visitation two hours prior from 11-1 p.m. Interment will be at North Lawn Cemetery. COTTRILL, DANIEL D. - Massillon  
Daniel D. Cottrill Sr. 1944-2015 age 71, Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday. Aug. 27, Born on June 17, 1944 to the late Otis D. and Dale E. Cottrill of Massillon. Dan attended Washington High School and founded Danny's Trucking, followed by Cottrill Wrecking Co. in 1971. He was involved with trucking and wrecking his entire life and could never give up his involvement when he should have been enjoying his retirement years. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing but his health has declined over the years making it difficult to enjoy any outdoor activities. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Norma Jean Cottrill and mother-in-law, Marie Fisher. He is survived by his wife, Linda, whom he celebrated 50 yrs of marriage on Dec. 29, 2014, son Daniel D. Cottrill Jr. and fiancé Julie Crouchl daughter and son-in-law, Shelley D. and John S. Furscik Jr.; brother, David L.Cottrill, all of Massillon and half sister, Betty Hebb of Shinnston W.Va. He leaves a grieving Chow named Banchi as well as numerous friends. Per Daniels wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private graveside service will be at the convenience of the family. Dan was a Christian man who embraced his Savior, Jesus Christ fervently. Cusma, Daniel C. - North Canton  
Daniel C. Cusma 1945 - 2015 70, of North Canton passed away on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015. He was born July 25, 1945 in East Cleveland, Ohio to the late Constantino and Elizabeth Cusma. Daniel graduated from McKinley High School class of 1966. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Daniel retired from sales after many years. He loved traveling, watching sports and his grandchildren. He was a longtime friend of Bill Wilson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Clare Smith and nephew, Nicholas Mele. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Julie; children, Eddy (Lori), Chuck (Denise), Anthony (Patty), Daniel (Elizabeth) and Keith (Tess); grandchildren, Eddie, Heather, Chris, Josh, Matthew, Garrett, Michael, Gabriel, Israel, Dax, Sydney and Larkin; great grandchildren, Victoria and Liam; brothers and sisters, Aledra (Fred) Simon, Joseph (Mary) Cusma, Annemarie Cusma, Patrick (Teresa) Cusma and Christopher (Constance) Cusma and a host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, Aug, 28, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave. NW North Canton.
