Stock, Michael Peter - Loveland  
Michael Peter Stock passed away Nov. 14, 2014. He was born May 14, 1980 in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Glen Oak High School in Canton, Ohio. He lived in Elyria, Zanesville, Milford, Goshen and Blanchester. Michael was a talented artist and loved music. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Estep; daughter, Sistina Stock and son Ascher Stock of Goshen, parents Timothy and Barbara Stock of Norwalk, Iowa, brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Elizabeth Stock, and nephew William Stock of Cincinnati, grandfather Henry Turner of Pickerington, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Gerard and Kathleen Stock of North Canton, and his maternal grandmother Laurene Turner of Pickerington.  He will be sorely missed by those who love him. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, 2 p.m. at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of service. Stranan, Michael C. - Canton  
Michael C. Stranan age 62 of Hartville, died Tuesday evening in Aultman Compassionate Care following a very brief illness. Born in Canton he was the son of Joseph S. and the late Christine (Zilla) Stranan, was a 1971 graduate of McKinley High School where he played football and was a true Bulldog Fan. He retired in 2014 from Canton Drop Forge after 33 years of service, was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church, was a avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife: Karen Stranan of the home; son: Joseph Stranan of Canton; daughter: Amy (Jason) Kraus of Canton; step-daughters: Summer (Richard) Gray of Louisville, Melissa (Israel) Strader of Minerva, Jamie (Donald) Fox of Canton; brother: Gregory (Sandra) Stranan of Canton; sister: Deanna Stranan of Canton; nephew Jonathan Stranan; grandchildren: Ashton Kraus, Andrew Walsh, Matthew, Emily, Brayden Stranan; step-grandchildren: Rachel, Tyler, Riley Gray, Corey, Jordon, Andy Strader, Skye Fox and Conner Fox. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas P. Dyer as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Wackerly Funeral Home. Donations may be made to St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church. Swanson, Richard Wilfrid - Fuquay Varina  
Richard Wilfrid Swanson 89, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C. passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at home. Richard was born in Louisville, Ohio on Dec. 5, 1924 the son of the late Wilfrid and Florence (Harsh) Swanson. He was an Army and Air Force veteran serving in both World War II and the Korean War, earning the Purple Heart; he retired from Rapid Air Freight in 1988. Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise (Kagey) Swanson; daughters, Teresa (Jim) Sopko of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., and Cindy (Rick) Johnson of New Waterford, Ohio; four grandchildren – Jen (Ben), Ed, Leanne, and Natalie; two great grandchildren – Ethan and Lily; three siblings, Phyllis (Craig) Stocker, Frances Swanson, and Cecilia Hanna; a brother-in-law, Donald Kagey; sister-in-law, Barb Swanson; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two siblings; Norma Headley and Gene Swanson. A small family viewing was held Wednesday, Nov. 19 in North Carolina. Cremation ahs taken place and a ceremony with Military Honors will be held at St. Louis Cemetery in Louisville, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made in Richard's honor to the Wounded Warriors Project at 4899 Belfort Rd, Ste 300, Jacksonville, FL.
