Kolm, Vivian P. - Canton  
Vivian P. Kolm 74 of Canton went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2015. Vivian was born in Graysville, Ohio on March 19, 1941 to the late Herber and Mollie Truax. She was a Quality Controller for US Ceramics for 25 years retiring in 2003 and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Carlla (Fred) Rose, Chris (Vohnny) Kolm and Steve (Mary) Kolm; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Truax; sister, Sandy (Robert) Lowry and life long companion, Carl Kolm. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday March 26, 2015 at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Family and friends may visit from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. Kuhn, Robert Bob - North Canton  
Robert 'Bob' Kuhn Age 75, of North Canton, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He was born Jan. 29, 1940, in Canton, to the late Lester and Helen (Schott) Kuhn. Bob was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, North Canton. He retired from the Timken Company after 41 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pamella (Darr) Kuhn; children: Mike Kuhn, Matt Kuhn, and Kristie (Bob) Dague; grandchildren; Dylan and Ryan Dague, and Haley Kuhn; brother, Eugene (Linda) Kuhn; brothers-in-law, Steve (Judy) Darr, and Dave (Chris) Darr; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 241 S. Main Street, North Canton, with Rev. Fr. Jeffery Stealey officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Monday from 9:00-10:30 a.m., in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kan. 66675.

Lapanja, Joseph - Canton  
Joseph M. Lapanja age 67, of Perry Township, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He was born June 7, 1947 in Canton to his parents, the late, Joseph S. and Virginia (Altimore) Lapanja. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. Joe worked for Beaver Excavating and then started his independent trucking company, Joe Lapanja Trucking and was the developer of Lachelle Estates in Perry Township. Survivors include his wife, Sally (Risher) Lapanja; daughter, Lachelle (Wilian) Lapanja-Lopez; four grandchildren, Jovani, Skylee, Orlando, and Anjalina; and two sisters, Mary Allen and Loretta Hoffman. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Reed Funeral Home CANTON Chapel. Visiting hour with the family will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Lash II, Wellington - Canton  
Wellington Lewis Lash II (Lew) Age 69, passed away at his home in Mequon, Wisc., Sunday, March 15, 2015. Born April 27, 1945 in Albany, Ga., the son of Ruth Vogt Lash and the late Wellington Lewis (Lew) Lash. Lew is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Susan Orr Lash; and daughter, Sandi Linnea Lash; his mother and his sister, Susan Lash Blanchard, both of Massillon; extended family in Bergen County, N.J.; and many nieces and nephews. Lew grew up in Massillon, Ohio and graduated from Washington High School in 1963. A hometown boy, Lew was a student leader, a member of the National Honor Society, a sportsman, an Eagle Scout, and began his devoted Christian life in the choir and as an altar boy at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Massillon. A proud 1967 graduate of The Ohio State University, Lew was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, an ROTC cadet, and later, a US Army officer and Company Commander during the Vietnam Era. Lew remained an avid Buckeye fan his whole life, attending many bowl games and enthusiastically leading numerous OSU Alumni Clubs across the country. He was an award winning salesman, sales manager, and nationally recognized advisor for and with Fortune 500 companies specializing in Corporate Change Management. In his over 40 professional career years, Lew loved traveling America's great landscape building a network of loyal contemporaries wherever he went. Lew never met a stranger, he lived life with joy, and always saw the glass half full. A Memorial Celebration of Lew's life will be held in Massillon; date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to consider gifts to the Lew Lash Memorial Scholarship Fund established with The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Wisconsin.

Lavy-Hanft, Kathryn - Canton  
E. Kathryn Lavy-Hanft age 95 of Louisville, passed away March 26, 2015. She was born in Louisville, Ohio on Sept. 2, 1919 to the late Fred and Jennie (Clapper) Weyand. Kathryn retired as an elementary school teacher in the Canton and Louisville areas after 34 years of service. She was a member of the National and Ohio Educational Associations, A Jennings Scholar and a lifelong member of the Center Church of the Brethren. She also served as a Deacon of the church for many years. Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Beth Julian; her three sons, Norman Lavy, Fred (Cheryl) Lavy, Neil Lavy; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Orion Lavy in 1993 and her second husband Paul Hanft in 2013, her sister, Arlene Bechtel and her brother, Harold Weyand. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Paul Bozman officiating. Calling hours will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
