David Neal Beans
Age 69, of Canton, passed away, unexpectedly, on Sunday, March 2, 2014. He was born in
Dover, Ohio, on March 7, 1944, to the late, Wilmer (Bud) and Anna E. Beans; and was a graduate of Midvale High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Malone College and his Master's Degree in Education from Akron University. He started his career as a 6th grade teacher at Canton South then became an elementary school principal in Washington Township and later East Canton Schools. David retired from Rootstown Local School District in 2012, following 13 years as middle school principal. Following his retirement, he and his wife ran a food distrbution service called K M Sales. He was an avid golfer, sports fan and was on the basketball and baseball teams while at Malone. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. David was a wonderful man and will always be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his loving wife, Judy, whom he married in 1991; daughters, Andrea, Ashley, Sherri (Roger) Lindsey and Michelle Lennon; grandchildren, Benjamin, Kirsten and Isabella; and his brother, Loren (Lois) Beans.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Faith Family Church, 8200 Freedom Ave. N.W., with Pastor Jack Pancher officiating. Burial will follow in Warstler Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel, and one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m. on Friday in the church.
