Harry Wayne NewVine
age 77 of Canton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Dec. 24, 2013 following a recent illness. He was born June 15, 1936 in Canton, N.Y. Harry was inducted into the Canton, N.Y. High School Sports Hall of Fame and was very proud of that achievement. He moved to Ohio in 1965, eventually settling in Canton, Ohio in 1970. He was a former mechanical engineer for Standard Plumbing and Heating and retired from the Soehnlen Piping Company.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Crystal with whom he would have celebrated 35 years of marriage on New Year's Eve; children, Michele NewVine Brackin, Susan NewVine and David NewVine; stepdaughters, Tami (Mike) Hulit and Ashley (Mark) Mangin; grandchildren, Scott and Amanda Moore, Taylor NewVine, Kori and Kelsi Hulit and Cole Mangin; and special hunting friends, Ray Barnhart, Bob Kress (deceased), Web Brackin and Larry Brackin.
Harry's family would like to invite friends to join them to share and celebrate his life on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
