Linda Rae Thompson

Linda Raye
was born Sept. 1, 1946. She departed to be with the Lord Jan. 12, 2014. She was a lifelong member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she was the adult womens Bible study teacher. She served on the mission board. She was also a Sunday school teacher and an avid member of W.H.I.P. She loved to serve the Lord. She was a devoted wife, mother and nana. She was a graduate of McKinley Senior High School and a retired employee of The Timken Company for 33 years as a machinist.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of over 30 years, C.B. Thompson; her daughter, Tonya (Dean) Hamilton of Jackson Township; her pride and joy and the beat of her heart, granddaughter, Britanee Noelle Hamilton; her sister, Janet Ann Bradley; her stepdaughter, Natasha Walker of Jackson Twp.; and step-granddaughter, Ava Walker of Jackson Township. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy M. Golden; her father, John Golden; brothers, Michael, Gary and Donald Golden; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 700 Market Ave. South, where Pastor Charles Prince will be eulogizing. Visitation 9-10 a.m.
