Rosetta K. Myers
55, of Orrville, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her home following a three year battle with cancer. She was born in Orrville on June 2, 1957 to Nathan and Anna (Geiser) Amstutz and married Kevin Myers on Dec. 22, 1982. He survives. She was a registered nurse and had worked at the former Doctor's Hospital in Massillon for 23 years and at Dunlap Community Hospital in Orrville for 10 years. She was a member of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church near North Lawrence.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Anna Neuenschwander of Orrville; children, Curtis (Kari Ann) Myers of Orrville and Carrie Myers of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a grandson, Brik Myers; a brother, Jay (Kim) Amstutz of Orrville; a sister, Carlene (Stephen) Lantz of Broadway, Va.; sisters-in-law, Linda Myers of Massillon and Arlene Hostettler of Millersburg; and numerous stepbrothers and stepsisters. She was preceded in death by her father, and brothers, Ron and Jeffrey Amstutz.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, 14795 Wooster Street, NW, North Lawrence, with Pastor Bob Schloneger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home, 15900 Main Street, Mt.
