Terry L. Bennett
age 61, of Canton died Saturday morning in Aultman Hospital. Born in Zanesville, Ohio he had resided here since 1972. A self-employed carpet installer, Terry had also served in the Marine Corps Third Reconnaissance Battalion during Vietnam. Terry was very proud of having been an Eagle Scout, he was a devoted family man, wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and he loved golf, kids all of his friends, and had a special love for his dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Kelli of the residence; daughters, Kim Thompson and Kourtney Lopez; sons, Wesley and Curtis Bennett; grandchildren, Madison, Casey, Tommy, Morgan, Carley, Julia and Olivia; sisters, Connie (Chuck) Tippens, Nancy (Chuck) Reno and Cathy McCaulley; brothers, Eddie, Bruce and Ted Bennett; mother of his children, Conny. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial service will be Wednesday 6 p.m. in Sanctuary Church of God, 6535 Maplebrook St., East Canton, OH 44730. Friends may call from 5 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church. You may sign our guest book at: www.shriverfuneralhomes.com
