Wilma V. Collins
age 81, of Canton, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013. She was born in Yancy Co., N.C. on May 8, 1931 to the late Dave Cling Willis and Ada (Gillis) Willis. Wilma resided in Canton for the last 35 years and was a member of Canton Baptist Temple. She loved to crochet and won several blue ribbons at the Stark County Fair. She was loved by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Collins on Sept. 3, 1982; and her daughter, Nancy G. Haas.
Survivors include her daughter, Willimina (Frank) Feielin of Canton; son, Clayton (Diane) Collins of West Newfield, Maine; four granddaughters, Charlena Wilson of Canton, Melissa Leach of Henderson, Nev., Catrina St. Ours of Limington, Maine and Angela Collins of Winthrop, Maine; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bertha Wells of Clinton, Miss. Many heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Astoria Skilled Nursing Home for all of their T.L.C.
