Catherine Wartman Obituary
Wartman
age 51, passed away early Saturday morning on Nov. 19, 2011, following a three-month battle with renal cancer. Born April 26, 1960, Cathy was a lifetime resident of Louisville and graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. She was employed by Aultman Hospital as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for 21 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and walking her two dogs, Bailey and Gracie. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Louisville Leopards.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Currie Wartman; son, Currie Wartman II; daughter, Casey Wartman; parents, John and Phyllis Nees; sisters, Diane (Robert) Stitt of Sarasota, Fla.; Sara (Joe) Antochow of Avon Lake, Ohio; Suzanne (David) Stubbs of Athens, Ga.; brothers, Tom Nees of East Lansing, Mich.; John F. (Louise) Nees of Louisville, Ohio; David (Brenda) Nees of Louisville, Ohio; Michael Nees of Louisville, Ohio; mother and father-in-law, Joyce and Wilbur Wartman of East Canton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
An evening of remembrance honoring Cathy's life will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home, 303 S. Chapel Street in Louisville from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Home Health Care of the Aultman Health Foundation. Arrangements are at the direction of the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home.
