Albert A. Sandberg
93, went to be with Jesus on November 1, 2013 in Casselberry, Fla. He was born on April 3, 1920 in Midland, Pa. to Carl & Mary Thomas Sandberg. He was raised in Canton, Ohio, graduated from Canton McKinley and married Betty Ann Davis of 72 years.
Survivors are his wife Betty; sons, Allan D. Sandberg (Eloyce), Col.; James R. Sandberg (Marge), Fla.; and daughter, Cheryl S. Gray (Steven), Fla.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ada Green, Paul R. Sandberg, Fla.; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Albert was a Navy veteran and was retired from Columbia Gas of Ohio. Albert was a member of Community UMC, Casselberry, Fla. & the Crosby Y, Winter Park. He was active in Masonic, Scottish Rite, Shrine, TPA & also served as Ohio Lieutenant Governor of Civitan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community United Methodist Church, Casselberry, Florida or a . Interment will be November 11, 2013 at Alliance Ohio City Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. November 29, 2013 at Community United Methodist Church, Casselberry, Florida.
