Berdine 'Beanie' Klick
88 of Richville died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Altercare of Navarre. She was born Feb. 26, 1925 in Massillon to the late Louis and Minnie (Moock) Isler. She had worked at the former Nita Clair's Dress Shop in Canton and Maude's Dress Shop in Navarre. She was the owner of the former Beanie Klick's Fashion Dress Shop in Dalton and Navarre until her retirement. She was a member of the Richville United Church of Christ, Perry Grange and State and National Grange, Richville Park Board and Richville Golden Charms.
She is survived by her husband, Claud Klick whom she married Nov. 25, 1943 and would have celebrated 70 years of marriage this year; her children, Terry (Bonnie) Klick and Beckie (Paul) Custer; grandchildren, Eric (Kimberly) Klick, Alisha (Chris) Dennis and Julie (Allen) Brahler; great-grandchildren. Anna, Kerrington, Colten and Adam; and her sister, Betty Spencer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her five sisters, Dorothy, Pearl, Gladys, Lil and Verna and two brothers, Carl and Paul.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Richville United Church of Christ, 6125 Richville Dr. SW with Rev. Ed Shriver officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon. Friends may call Wednesday 11-1 at the church prior to services. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek. Memorials may be made to the Richville United Church of Christ, 6125 Richville Dr. SW, Navarre, OH 44662.
