'Together Again'Blanche D. Stocker
age 98 formerly of Louisville, passed away Dec. 21, 2013 at the Meadow Wind Health Care Center in Massillon. She was born July 4, 1915 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette (Haidet) DuPlain. Blanche worked for many years as a waitress and member of the kitchen staff at the Louisville Eagles. She was a member of the FOE Auxiliary and the Julliard Senior Center where she was a volunteer for many years. Blanche was member of St. Louis Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She loved to play cards, especially euchre and found great joy in spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Blanche is preceded in death by her husband Raymond J. Stocker who passed away Nov. 9, 1990; an infant son; three sisters and six brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Marianne (Jeff) Snyder of Canton and Carole (Frank) Falcone of Canton; six grandchildren, Karla (Jeff) Lindesmith, Kathy Goodnight, Kimberly (Troy) Cummins, Frank (Gretchen) Falcone Jr., Greg (Kendra) Falcone and Renee Falcone and eleven great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Blanche on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Larry Frient officiating. Blanche will be laid to rest beside her husband in St. Louis Parish Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
