'Together Forever'Frank L. Bailey Sr.
70, of Canton went home on Wednesday, Dec. 11, to be reunited with the love of his life, Charlotte, to whom he was married October of 1960. Frank was born in Elizabeth, W.Va. on March 22, 1943, the son of the late Obie and Pearl (Grailey) Bailey, also preceded in death by great-grandson, David Lee Misjan Jr. Although it broke the hearts of his family to let him go we all know that he is now happy and at peace. His memory will live on in his children and grandchildren. Frank retired in 2005 after 35 years of service with The Canton Cemetery Association.
Frank, the greatest dad in the world, is survived by five daughters, Margie (Bob) Gaines of Louisville, Tammy Bailey, Shelva (Kevin) Hill, Robin (Mark) Fisher, all of Canton, Michelle (Brian) Ohman of Louisville; one son, Frank (Evelyn) Bailey Jr. of Canton; a special nephew, Joe Bailey of West Virginia; three sisters, Ruth Bailey of Canton, Patty (Larry) Parker of Marion, Opal Lockhart of Elizabeth, W.Va.; three brothers, Gary Bailey of Parkersburg, W.Va., Bobby Bailey of West Virginia, Jack Bailey of Canton; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, with Steve Stevenson officiating. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. also in the funeral home. Until we meet again Frank and Charlotte will be preparing a home and waiting for us all beyond the pearly gates.
