In Loving Memory of George E. Durrant, age 85, of Wooster passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at his home. A memorial service will be announced at a future date in 2014. Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.

George was born July 10, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Donald Calvert and Helene Julia (Schluetermann) Durrant and married Yvonne T. "Bonnie" Graham on December 26, 1950. She survives. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army. He worked for Nickles Bakery and retired from Rex Roth in 1990.
He was a life long member of Wooster United Methodist Church. He studied music and enjoyed playing various instruments in bands and with his friends; he loved camping, boating, fishing, and was an avid bridge and euchre player.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Don Durrant of Fort Myers, Fla., Patty (Ron) Krinke and Helen Durrant all of Wooster and Ellen (Dave) Rigsby of Wichita Falls, Tx; grandchildren, Mitch and Clint (Sarah) Krinke, Colin Rigsby, Eric (Mary) Rigsby, Megan (Corey) Thomas and Carrie (Chase) Thornton; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Zackary, Anah and Izabella Krinke, Jacob, Zachary and Rhys Rigsby and Raney and Harper Thomas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Patricia Marr and Delores Miller.
