Helen Greenberger 1925-2018

Age 93, of Canton passed away Thursday evening, July 5, 2018, in Altercare of Louisville. She was born May 31, 1925 in Canton to Zygmunt (Zeek) and Laura (Zoboroski) Burnosky. Helen was the office manager for the Garco Company, which she owned with her husband. She was a graduate of Timken High School, was a member of Temple Israel, and Arrowhead Country Club where she was a past club champion. Helen attained her pilot's license at age 18 and was a fixture at Martin's Field for many years. She also was fortunate to have taken golf lessons from Sam Snead.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard in 2000; sister, Sophie Clamp; brothers, Zeek and Frank Burnosky. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Caroline and Don Soldatis of Boardman, Barbara Williams of Chicago, Charlene Clamp and partner Robin Donald of Kent, Frank and Lynne Burnosky Jr. of Canton, Philip and Rebecca Rapport of Minneapolis, Judith and Henry Bergman of Chicago, Kenneth and Barbara Rapport of Cleveland, Daniel and Judith Rapport of Toledo. The family of Helen would like to thank The Landings of Canton for the excellent care she received while a resident, Altercare of Louisville for their outstanding care and compassion, and Compassionate Care Hospice for their service, kindness, and the dignity they displayed to Helen. A private graveside service was held at North Lawn Cemetery with Rabbi Jon Adland and John Spitzer officiating.
