'Together Again'

Jeanette Marie (Moore) Yerrick
age 96, passed away at her home May 1, 2014. She was born in Uniontown, Ohio on July 12 1917 and resided in the area all her life. Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She retired from Akron City Hospital, where she worked in the nursery, after 10 years, to care for others. Her love for children showed with the many children she cared for in her home over the years. She loved spending time looking at photos, remembering "the good old days" and laughing, she had the best laugh. Jeanette was a life long member of Advent Lutheran Church.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Stanley; parents, Ward and Irene Moore; brothers, Dale and William Moore; sisters, Betty Thursby and Idabelle Murphy and grandson Andrew Yerrick. She is survived by her children, Douglas (Lucille) Yerrick, Philip (Elaine) Yerrick and Ann (Jeff) Machamer; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Fankhauser and Edna Fischer and her beloved friend Bonnie Markovich.
In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will greet friends Monday, May 19th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church. A service celebrating her life will follow with Rev. Robert Cheyney Jr. officiating. A private burial service will be held in Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date.
