'Josie' Aiello
Josephine M. 'Josie' Aiello, age 86 of Massillon, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Aug. 26, 2014 at the Countryside Meadows Skilled Nursing Center in Avon, Indiana due to complications following a stroke. She was born Josephine Marie Camarata on July 19, 1928 in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Sam and Ann (Pizzalato) Camarata. She married Joseph L. Aiello of Brooklyn, NY on July 6, 1946 and they remained together for 58 years until Joe's death in 2004.
Josie is survived by a daughter, Frances Aiello of Avon, Ind.; two sons and daughters- in-law, Marty and Caye Aiello of Westerville, Ohio and Bob and Kathy Aiello of Avon, Ind.; a sister, Phyllis Define of Massillon; a brother, Joseph Camarata of Massillon; eight grandchildren, Sean, Kaitlyn, Todd, Cory, Ryan, Brian, Justin and Adam Aiello; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home, 303 South Chapel Street in Louisville. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Larry Frient officiating. Interment will follow in the parish Cemetery.
