Judith Elaine
Vandor Ellsworth
Age 76, of Canton passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 after a long battle with
Alzheimer's disease. She was born March 25, 1936, in Canton, Ohio, to the late George and Elsie Vandor; and graduated from McKinley High School in 1954. She enjoyed working as a teller at People Merchants Bank until she got pregnant with her first child and then became a full-time homemaker. Judy was a member of Community Christian Church where she enjoyed driving the van for CWF van tours and being a part of the churches kitchen crew. She was also a member of the Buckeye Stein Club and spent many wonderful years traveling in the U.S. and abroad with the club and her husband. Her favorite activity was shopping and going to lunch with her friends. Judy sadly missed shopping with her granddaughters Ally and Katie due to her battle with Alzheimer's. She would have enjoyed the fact that her only grandson never sleeps thru a night without waking up mommy and daddy and also her oldest granddaughter, Morgan shares her love for reading and books.
Judy is survived by her husband of 55 years, whom she married on Sept. 28, 1957, James D. Ellsworth Sr.; children, Meredith Ellsworth Skotschir and James Jr. 'Jimmy' (Jami) Ellsworth; grandchildren, Morgan and Allison Skotschir, Kaitlin and Riley Ellsworth. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke's Community for the wonderful care and love given to Judy and her family. We will miss her laughter and giggles.
