JW* James Obituary
69, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016. He was born in Brent, Ala. JW will be joyously remembered by his daughter, Michelle James-Cannon of Canton, Ohio; brothers, Elmore James Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, Caddis James Sr. of Brent, Ala., and JP James of Canton, Ohio; sisters, Doretha James and Loretha James of Canton, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Craig Jr, JaMar, Shauntez, Michelle, and Jayshaun Gordon, Dontia (Daniel) Battle, Char- leza (Jamar) Mabry, and Jayda James; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of special nieces and nephews. Numerous cousins, other relatives, and his many, many special friends will also share their fond memories of their relationship with JW through the years. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Jimmy James, Buddy James and Phillip James Sr.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. with Funeral services following at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at First Church of God In Christ, 1125 Gonder Ave. SE, Canton, OH 44707. Burial will be in the Northlawn Cemetery, Canton.
