age 76 passed away on Nov. 23, 2013. She was born on Oct. 31, 1937 to the late Sheridan 'Tut' and Janet (Giltz) Johnson. She was a 1955 graduate of Washington High School. Kay worked at Superior Meats for 30 years until her retirement and later worked part-time at A&A Hair & Tanning. She enjoyed gardening, listening to classical music, playing the slot machines and visiting family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a kind, loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and a person, who was a joy to be around.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelley (Bob) Williams and Shelley (Dan) DePalma; her grandchildren, Jeff, Jeremy and Joshua Gerber and Angelo De Palma; 12 great-grandchildren; her siste,r Susan Palaski; her brother, Michael (Judy) Johnson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Pastor Elaina Styblo officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
