Born September 15, 1929 passed away on June 1, 2009. Son of the late Frances (Fiala) and Cyril B. Paumier Sr. Life resident of Canton, Ohio. Attended St Peter's School and was a 1948 graduate of Lehman High School. Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict September 18, 1950 July 15, 1954 on the destroyer, Brinkley Bass. A life long member of St. Peter's Parish, Canton, Ohio. Employed by Republic Steel and LTV retiring in November 1991. He was a 60 year member of the American Legion Post 44 Canton, Ohio, life member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 3747 Canton, Ohio,and member of the Korean Conflict Veterans of America. Edward married Eileen Marshall May 18, 1957 who survives along with three sons and four daughters, Marc Edward Paumier, Karen Ann (Joseph) Tienstra, Kent Michael (Georgene) Paumier, Cheryl Marie (Don) Delor, Lisa Kay (Ray) Rials, Laurie Sue (David) Freudeman, and Bryan Thomas (Laura) Paumier. Also 13 grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, and Elizabeth Tienstra; Michelle Paumier; Cara and Ryan Delor; Marissa and Nicholas Rials; McKenzie, Tyler, and Kyle Freudeman; and Megan and Carly Paumier. He leaves his only brother, Cyril B. Paumier of Columbia, Maryland. Family and friends will meet Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Msgr. John Finnigan as Celebrant. Following the Mass his cremated remains will be interred in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. Korean Conflict Veterans will provide Military Graveside Services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church. Condolences may be made to:
