Patricia F.
(McAllister) Floom
Age 73, went to be with our Lord on Feb. 6, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Pat was born in Ellijay, Ga. on Sept. 17, 1939, to the late Frank McAllister and Macile Zbuka.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Don, with whom she shared over 52 wonderful years of marriage. She was preceded in death by sister, Betty Capobianco. She is survived by brother, John (Karen) McAllister; sister, Robyn (Sonny) Bennet; children, Crystal (Brian) Hill, Mike (Michelle) Floom; and grandchildren, Hailey and Kate Floom, Jacob Hill; and many nieces and nephews. Pat took great pride in her grandchildren and their school and sports accomplishments. She shared many memories and much laughter with her wide circle of friends. Pat was an active member and Eucharistic minister of St. Paul Catholic Church in North Canton. She participated in the Women's Guild, Hot Lunch and Bingo programs, bowling league and card club. Her leadership in RCIA helped many in our community find their Catholic faith. She enjoyed traveling, casinos, card club and shopping with her dear friends. She loved Sugarcreek visits with her children and grandchildren, cherishing special family trips to Myrtle Beach. Pat enjoyed her Dillard's co-workers, retiring after 27 years of service. Pat will be remembered for her big heart, generosity and love of God. The family wishes to thank all those who helped us through this difficult time, with a special appreciation of Pat Hammond for her comfort and support.
