'Together Again'
Donald Mutigli
age 87, of Minerva, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 in Minerva Eldercare. He was born Aug. 20, 1925 in Waynesburg to Joseph and Clorinda (Martinelli) Mutigli. He retired from Structural Stoneware in Minerva where he was the plant manager and was the owner of Mutigli's Pizza for 25 years. He is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and was a US Army veteran of World War II, member of the Minerva VFW Post #4120, the D.A.V., and a former member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Menicos) Mutigli who died in 2006; sister, Merina Delcorso; and brother, Evio Mutigli. He is survived by two sons, Robert (Jane) Mutigli of Massillon and Daniel Mutigli of Minerva; two sisters, Peia Vinci of Waynesburg and Helen Carpino of Waynesburg; brother, Dean (Clara) Mutigli of Waynesburg; three grandsons, Matt, Jim and Mark Mutigli.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial with full military honors will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services at the church. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the register at
