Joan Biery Obituary
Age 76, of Alliance, passed away at 3:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
She was born May 13, 1940 in Ravenna to Willis C. Biery and Virginia (Biery) Stuart. Joan graduated from Marlboro High School, and retired after 32 years from the Hoover Company. She was a life member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Alliance Senior Center.
Joan is survived by her brother, Paul (Joan) Biery; sister, Mary Lou (Robert) Muckley; stepbrother, Neil (Barbara) Stuart; stepsister, Karol (Mike) Harter; special nephews, Todd (Marty); and Tim (Elizabeth); special grandnephews and niece Eli, Max and Gabby.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 11394 Edison St. Alliance, OH 44601. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave. Alliance, Ohio 44601. Friends may register online at www.ctcfuneral.com.

We just learned from a mutual friend that Joanie passed. She was a dear friend to our family - Donald and Nola Snyder for many years, and she babysat us kids - Gary, Linda & Susan when we lived in Marlboro. We're sorry to hear that her kind heart and infectious laugh are gone.
