Arlington, TX - Polly Connor at age 86 passed away September 13, 2012 after an extended illness.
Born May 8, 1926 in Anderson, South Carolina, she was the first daughter of the late James Calvin and Margie Wells Bolt. She graduated from Anderson Girls High School in May 1943. Her sisters, Ann and Bobbie, preceded her in death.
Polly is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Clifford Connor, Arlington, TX; our three children, Mark D. Connor, San Angelo, TX, Tracy Leigh Connor and George "Chip" Clifford Connor, Jr., Keller, TX; son-in-law Randall A. Smith, Fort Worth; daughters-in-law Amy Smith, Fort Worth, Kimella Dailey Connor-Yesenik, Arlington, and Candice Kmetz, Denver, CO; our four grandchildren, Brandon Allen Smith, Fort Worth, Spencer Cashen, Keller, SRA Boanerge C. Connor, USAF, Wiesbaden, Germany, Tyler C. Connor, Arlington; our three great-grandchildren, Aedyn G. Smith, Denver, CO, Caleb C. Kelley and Kinsley Grace Kelley, Keller. Numerous cousins and other relatives are in SC, GA,
and NC.
Memorials may be given to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers. Polly's cremated remains will be placed in a columbarium at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery where my remains shall eventually join her.
