David Clardy Obituary

DAVID "SHORTY" CLARDY
BELTON-
David "Shorty" Clardy, 70 widower of Betty Sue Clardy of 207 Poplar Ave. died Sunday, April 01, 2012 at Hospice of the Upstate.
Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Walter Eugene and Dora Evans Clardy. He was a member of the Mason Lodge # 321 and a member of the Shriners.
Surviving are: daughters, Rebecca Sue Bright and Kimberly Clardy Loudermilk both of Belton; brothers, Jerry Clardy of Warner Robins GA, Ray N. Clardy of Spokane WA and Frank Clardy of Townville; sisters, Jo Anne Scott of Greenwood and Judy Williams of Warner Robins GA; grandchildren; Allison Loudermilk, Kayla Loudermilk, Scott Loudermilk and James Bright all of Belton; 6 great grandchildren; special little friend, Baby Girl.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Grady, David, Furman, Junior and Randy Clardy; sisters, Marilyn Cobb and Doris Crook.
Crypt side service will be conducted 2pm Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Monday at Cox Funeral Home.
Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
The family will be at the home of Rebecca Bright, 505 North Main St. Belton.
