Mr. Sherman David Scotland
STARR SC - Mr. Sherman David Scotland, 58, of 1580 Farmer Road, Starr SC, departed this life on Thursday, August 5, 2010. Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late S. D. and Susie Ree Scotland.
Sherman leaves behind to cherish his fond and golden memories, daughter, Shermeka M, Scotland (Tony) of Starr, SC, son, Paul G. Scotland of New York City, Grandchildren, Tionee Tinch, Heaven Tinch and Tony Tinch, Jr., all of Starr SC, brothers, Thomas Eugene ( Alice Alberta) Scotland of Raleigh, NC, James Robert (Marilyn) Scotland and Willis (Beulah) Scotland, both of Anderson SC, Adger (Martha Jean) Scotland of Seneca, SC and Carl Oneal Scotland of Anderson SC, sisters, Annie Pearl Williams of Youngtown, Oh., Carolyn Annette (James) McDowell, Delores Watson, Jerome (Odell) Aiken, Doris Louise (Lester) Wheaton, Kathy (Rodney) Allen and Alice Ophelia (Ricky) Gambrell all of Anderson SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Gisele Eva Green Scotland and a brother Frankie Lee Scotland.
Services are 12:30 PM, Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at The Unity Mortuary Chapel, Anderson SC. No Wake. Interment, M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran Cemetery, Anderson SC.
THE UNITY MORTUARY of Anderson is in charge of arrangements. The family is at the home.

My prayers were with your brother, husband and father when I learned of his illness, now my prayers are with each of you as you grieve the loss of your loved one. God is with each of you, he is willing and able to bring you comfort as you ponder this loss of life. God's mercy and grace will bring you comfort in the days ahead.
