James Neal Willingham, of Pelzer, son of the late Carroll and Judy McQuen Willingham, husband of the late Denise Wilson Willingham, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014.
Neal was born on June 15, 1960, in Greenville, and was a graduate of Lower Richland High School in 1978. Neal was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps from 1978 to 1981 and he was also a fireman in the Columbia area for several years.
Neal is survived by a son, Dustin Willingham; a brother, Brett (Lisa) Willingham of Simpsonville; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Donna Wilson of Springdale; a brother-in-law, Robert (Noel) Wilson of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Kim (Tim) Downs of Chapin; nephews, Trevor Willingham of Simpsonville, Rob Wilson and James Wilson, both of Greenville; a niece, Julia Willingham of Simpsonville; and an uncle, James McQuen of Dublin, CA.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Cannon Memorial Park officiated by lifelong friend Randy Blackwell.
