James Holshouser

James Holshouser CONCORD Mr. James "Jim" Marshall Holshouser of Charlotte, and a former resident of Concord, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, at Carolina Memorial Park with the Rev. Rodney Quesenberry officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Jim was born, July 24, 1931, in Concord, to the late Paul M. Holshouser, Sr. and Elizabeth Dorton Holshouser Haywood. He was retired from Arizona Check Releasing, Phoenix. Jim was also a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict. Jim is survived by son, James Scott Holshouser; daughter, Janis Johnson; aunts, Jane Vauldin and Betty Plyler; brother, Paul M.
