Ruby Virginia Gibson

CONCORD - Ruby Virginia Gibson, 74, of 515 Lake Concord Road, died Friday, May 7, 2010, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. She was born the daughter of the late Luther Allison and Mattie Phillips Allison in Iredell County. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Balperazim Church of Christ at 1 p.m. The visitation will be from noon - 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery. Survivors are four daughters, Frances Everette (Milton), of Concord, Etta Bell Banks (Hubert), Montrose Allison and Lisa D. Gibson, of Kannapolis; three sons, Herbert L. Gibson, of Kannapolis, Eric Lee Gibson, of Shelby, and Herman Lee Gibson Jr. (Pamela), of China Grove; 24 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Bailey, of Salisbury; two brothers, June Allison, of New Jersey and Melvin Allison, of Kannapolis. Clark Funeral Home, Inc. is serving the Gibson Family. The family is at the home of Etta & Hubert Banks, 1424 Tyler Street, Kannapolis.
