Wesley Linwood Adams KANNAPOLIS Wesley L. (Buck) Adams, 78, of Kannapolis, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Transitional Health Service in Kannapolis, where he was a patient. Mr. Adams was born June 15, 1934, in Chesterfield County, S.C., a son of the late Earl M. and Minnie Lee Hancock Adams. A graveside service for Mr. Adams will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Crossroad Baptist Church Cemetery in Ruby, S.C., with the Rev. Ladell Humphries officiating. He was retired from Cannon Mills in Kannapolis, and was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Adams is survived by two brothers, Nolan Adams, of Hartsville, S.C. and Caston Adams, of Chesterfield, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
