Anthony "Tony" Schillaci

Anthony Michael "Tony" Schillaci, 28, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Endless Mountains Health Systems, Montrose.

He was born in Rochester, N.Y.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Teresa and Phillip Whitney, Montrose; two children, Jazmin Higley Schillaci and Connor Sands; two sisters and brother-in-law, Jeana Marie Faggiano, Rochester, N.Y., and Heather Marie and Jeremy Melody, Scranton; two nephews, Blake M. Stephens and Zachery D. Whitney; step grandmother, Myrle Ross, Montrose; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Salvatore and Rose Marie Schillaci; and second cousin, Kayleb Smith Schillaci.

Tony loved his children and he was a carefree, easy going person who people loved. He really enjoyed his music, especially his retro 70's and 80's, and had an extensive movie collection. Tony enjoyed camping and fishing with his best friend, James Patton.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Pastor Chuck Link, of the First Presbyterian Church of Montrose, officiating.
