Bonnie Jean Suchocki, 67, of Franklin Forks, passed away, Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA, Scranton.
Born March 27, 1947 in Binghamton, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late R. Everett and Geraldine (Hart) Thompson.
After graduating from Montrose High School Class of 1965, she attended the BOCES nursing program. She was the manager of the former Walden Hill Nursing Home, New Milford.
She was an auxiliary member of the Hallstead American Legion for many years. Her grandchildren were her life and she enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Z. Suchocki of Franklin Forks; son, Charles "Chuckie" Z. Suchocki of Franklin Forks;, daughters and sons-in-law, Dena M. Brozovic of Little Meadows, Denise L. and David Laforet of Fort Riley, Kan., Julie E. and Adam Diaz of Montrose; 11 grandchildren: Brittany, Kasondra, Alexis, Tayler, Katelyn, Avery, Marcelous, Eric, David Jr., Davian, Ashley (who was like her own); mother-in-law, Ramona Sochocki of Lakeside; brothers and sister-in-law, Ernest and Hilda Thompson of Brookdale, Rodney Thompson of Lawsville, Ronald Thompson of Brookdale; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Stanley Grier of Brookdale, Dawn and Mark Smith of Brookdale, Teresa and Roger Moody of Brookdale, Barbara Heath of Brookdale, Linda and Douglas Burgess of Hallstead; sister-in-law, Lucille Compton of Lakeside; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Darlene in 1988 and two of her brothers.

Services: 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
