Emily R. Giorgianni, 81, of Kingsley, passed away, Monday, June 24, 2013 at the VNA Hospice Unit at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. Her husband Harry F. Giorgianni predeceased her in October 1989.
Born September 18, 1931 in Princeton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Dana and Emily (Jeffers) Reudemann. Emily was a member of the Kingsley United Methodist Church.
She had previously been an E.M.T with the Harford Volunteer Fire Company and later she handled the billing for services provided by the Ambulance. She loved the multi-generational family farm, "Jeffers Tree Farm". Emily was a member of the Wally Byram Caravan Club International, Inc., She had enjoyed traveling and camping with Harry and fellow members across United States and Canada. Even after his death, she had "trailered" some, towing her Airstream trailer behind a Chevrolet Suburban. She loved her potbellied pig, Ollie, who also predeceased her, but had resided in her home for over a decade.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin W. Jr. "Snapper" and Anita Durland of Kingsley, David W. and Iraima Durland of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Stephen Dean of Rock Hill, S.C.; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Also step sons and step daughters-in-law, Harry A. and Marge Giorgianni, Swedesboro, N.J., Ronald and Barbara Giorgianni, Gibbstown, N.J., Carl Giorgianni, Gibbstown, N.J., and his former wife, Karen M. Giorgianni, Mantua, N.J.; eight step grandchildren; and 12 step great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudolf and Ingrid Ruedemann, Kingsley, William and Eleanor Ruedemann, Glendale, Ariz.; nieces, nephews and their families; and many surviving cousins in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Jersey.
She was predeceased by her brother Calvin Ruedemann; cousins, Rev. Dr. Alan Hagenbuch and William "Butch" Hagenbuch.
