Joan Sollick

Joan Robinson Sollick, 69, formerly of Montrose, went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening, March 15, 2014 from the Calvary Fellowship Home in Lancaster.

Joan was born in Towanda, on November 14, 1944 the daughter of Wilton and Catherine Simons Robinson.
She was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School class of 1963. On July 1, 1972 she married LaVerne Sollick at the First United Methodist Church in Towanda. Joan was employed by and dedicated to the WPEL Radio Station ministry in Montrose, for 43 years until her retirement in 2011. Joan was a member of the South New Milford Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading.
Surviving is her devoted husband of 41 years, LaVerne Sollick of Lancaster; sisters, Marjorie Garland of Freedom, Calif., Edna Springer of Towanda; brother, E. James Robinson of Nichols, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Brown and Doris Maxwell.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the South New Milford Baptist Church, South New Milford, with Pastor Larry Thomas officiating.

Interment will be private in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills.
