Marvin Roy (Marv) Aldrich, 63, of Goodspring, Tenn., died March 31, 2011.
He was born in Hallstead, on June 26, 1947.
He lived in New Milford for the early part of his life. Marvin worked for 30 years for Frito Lay in Kirkwood, N.Y., Pulaski and Fayetteville, Tenn. He retired in 2002 to travel and enjoy his grandchildren only to be stricken with renal cell cancer five and one half years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Lawrence and Helen Faith Sherwood Aldrich, and a nephew, Eric Gulick Penna.
Survivors are his devoted wife of 27 years, Sally Zapolski Aldrich, of Goodspring, Tenn.; son Michael Standish and his wife Lisa of Pulaski, Tenn.; daughter Michele Aldrich of Goodspring, Tenn.; brother Kenneth Aldrich of Kentucky; sisters: Geneva Wickizer and Brenda Gulick, both of Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Harli, Kenzie, Tristin and Mollie Standish, Hunter Parker and Cody Price, all of Pulaski, Tenn.
Funeral services were held on Monday morning, April 4, at the Carr & Erwin Chapel with entombment in Giles Memory Gardens.
