Bonnie J. McHale, 71, of Montrose, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at the Endless Mountains Health Systems, after a brief illness. Her husband, Willard McHale, predeceased her.

She was born in Montrose, to the late William and Minnie (Shimer) MacGeorge.

Surviving are her son, Mike McHale; daughter, Karen McHale; five grandchildren, Stephen Peet, TJ White, Brianna White, Keith McHale, and Brad McHale; great grandson, Nicholas Peet; sister, Karol Cokely; two brothers and sister-in-law, Karl and Carol MacGeorge, Shelley MacGeorge; nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was a member of the Franklin Forks United Methodist Church. Bonnie's family was the most important part of her life, however, the highlight of her life were the children that she looked after and prepared for school while at her home. She truly enjoyed having those kids around, many still came back to see her in their 30's and 40's.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Rev. Sara Kolenda of the Franklin Forks United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Brookside Cemetery, Franklin Forks. Visitations will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday.

Donations in Bonnie's name can be sent to the Franklin Forks United Methodist Church, or to the in remembrance of her husband, Willard.
