Charles Daniel Blaisure, 66, of New Milford went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2014 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, N.Y.

Charlie was born April 7, 1947 in Montrose the son of the late Charles David and Augusta Harvey Blaisure.
He was a graduate of the Elk Lake High School and attended Keystone College. Charlie was employed at the Blaisure family Dairy Farm and was also a truck driver.
He is survived by his two sons, Brad Blaisure of Norwich, N.Y., and Jeremy Blaisure of Roxboro, N.C.; brothers Gene, Jon, Terry, and Randy Blaisure; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by one daughter in law Tanya Blaisure; and grandchildren Dustin, Haley, Maya, and Kaitlyn.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandchild Samantha.
He loved basketball, racing, playing cards and farming.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors on South Tower 3 for their special care of Charlie.
A celebration of Charlie's life will take place at the Elk Lake American Legion Post 154 (South Montrose to Elk Lake Road), Saturday, January 25, at 1 p.m. with Minister Denise Blaisure officiating.
