Phyllis A. Ridgeway, 77, of Kingsley, passed away, Friday, January 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born May 26, 1936 in Montrose, she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Mildred (Walker) Bowen.
A 1954 graduate of Montrose High School, she was the sole proprietor of Lenox Dairy Bar, Lenox. Previously she was the office manager and Secretary of the Board of the Harford Agriculture Society for over 25 years, and was the Sub-Postmaster of the South Gibson Post Office.
She was a member of Kingsley Community Church, Kingsley. She also served on the Associate Board of then named Peoples Bank.
Her loving family includes her husband; Frank Ridgeway, daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl A. and Joseph Jr. Decker of Kingsley; grandchildren, CaseyAnn (Borja), CodieLee (Ethan), Seth, Luke, great-grandchildren, Marcus, Benedicta, Mark James; sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Clark Childers of Fairfax, Va.; nieces and nephews.

Services: 11 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
