Raymond H. Janesky, 62, of Hop Bottom died Thursday, April 19, 2012, at the Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
His wife, is the former Helen Kinney, and they were married on Feb. 2, 1974.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he is the son of the late Stanley and Mary Evaninski Janesky.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Nicholson, and he retired after 32 years from RCA/Thompson Corporation where he was employed as a machine attendant. He was also an avid woodworker and enjoyed his new John Deere, the "Green Machine," and spending time with his seven shih-tzu's puppies (his babies).

Raymond is survived by two sons: Robert and wife Jamie of Hop Bottom, and Raymond and wife Joellyn of Lancaster; a sister Carol Harashinski of Dupont; a mother-in-law Felicia Kinney of Hop Bottom; one grandson Dakota;and two granddaughters: London and Skylar; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Mary Kinney in 1993; father-in-law, Robert Kinney in 1994; and a brother-in-law, Stanley Harashinski.

A Blessing Service was celebrated by Father Thomas Petro on Sunday afternoon, Apr. 22, at the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State Street, Nicholson.

Cremation will by the R.H. Jones Crematory, Tunkhannock.

Interment of cremains in the St. Patricks Cemetery, Nicholson, at the convenience of the family.
