Craig Lathrop, 51, of Dimock Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
He was born on October 27, 1962, to Mary E. (Schlegel) Lathrop, Dimock Twp., and the late Edward B. Lathrop. His brother, Todd Lathrop, also predeceased him.

Also surviving are his two daughters and son-in-law, Amanda Lathrop, Dimock Twp., Kimberly Lathrop and Timothy Ellis, Montrose; son, Michael Lathrop, Montrose; two grandchildren, Tabitha and Torrin Ellis; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy Dooling, Binghamton, N.Y., Judy and Mike Samsel, Endicott, N.Y., Mindy and James Holbrook, UK; nieces, nephews, and cousin.

Craig was a member of the Sons of the American Legion at Post #154. He was a lifelong farmer, had worked at the Montrose Library for over 20 years, worked for many years as a bartender at the County Seat and The American Legion. Craig enjoyed baseball, music, and NASCAR.

Friends may call on the family Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Burdick Cemetery, Dimock Twp.
